The Raza Foundation

The Raza Foundation supports cultural and artistic activities. It aims to promote the works of the painter Sayed Haider Raza (1922-2016) and pay tribute to the work of the artist. The Foundation supports and promotes the publication of scientific, critical and historical works about the artist.

Based in the Gorbio village in the Alpes-Maritimes, the Raza Foundation is chaired by Soufiane Bensabra who is in charge of the estate of the artist.

Villa Raza

The Raza Foundation-Gorbio hosts artists in residence: painters, sculptors, musicians, poets. The Villa Raza is a welcoming place for any artist wishing to express themselves.

The Villa Raza was the home of S.H. Raza and was shared with his wife, the talented artist Janine Mongillat.
